Yesterday, the Presidential Committee on the Centenary released a list of 100 recipients for the Centenary Honours Award. This is part of activities for Nigeria's centenary celebrations.
There are 14 categories, and some of the Award recipients are:

Nigeria Centenary Celebration is a national event organized in the Federal Republic of Nigeria to celebrate the Amalgamation of Southern and Northern Nigeria by Lord Lugard in 1914.
