BADAN—ONDO State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, yesterday openly campaigned for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election in 2015.
The governor did this in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, at the commissioning of a new state secretariat of his party, the Labour Party, LP, at Oke-Ado area of the city.
While singing in Yoruba, he warned his party members not to venture into joining the gang-up against President Jonathan.
According to him, the only true progressive party in the country and Ondo State as at today was his party, where the lowest tuition fees were paid in the state-owned university.
He advised residents and eligible voters in the South West, including Oyo State to embrace Labour Party for their own good.
In his own speech, the Labour Party National Chairman, Dan Nwuayanwu, boasted that the party would win more states in the 2015 election.
