The Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has reportedly made an official statement on a video that went viral on many social media on Thursday showing one of the missing school girls in Chibok, Borno State allegedly being stoned to death.

The former Nigerian ambassador to Ghana called on Nigerians to refrain from spreading false information capable of further inciting terror.
He opined that 'moments like these require the collaboration and focus of all citizens to our common goal, bringing an end to terror in Nigeria'.
The Minister enjoins all Nigerian citizens to support the military with valuable information that would help them rescue the girls and more importantly, win the war against terror.

It could be recalled that Boko Haram's leader, Abubakar Shekau had some days back posted a video on the internet claiming responsibility for the missing 276 school girls.
The terror group leader also threatened that he is ready to sell the girls at 'human market', saying he has been directed by Allah to do so.
