OSOGBO—The multi-million naira newly completed ultra-modern High School, Ejigbo constructed by the Osun State Government collapsed in the early hours of yesterday.
Though no life was lost, collapse of the structure has been a source of concern to the state government.
It was gathered that the project which was billed for commissioning tomorrow by Governor Rauf Aregbesola had earlier been inspected by government officials few days ago.
The state government in its official reaction to the development through a statement by Mr Semiu Okanlawon, Director, Bureau of Communications and Strategy yesterday said “the state government regrets to inform members of the public the suspect incidence of the collapse of the Main Hall of the newly completed ultra-modern High School, Ejigbo State of Osun.”
