Although NFF spokesman Ademola Olajire told the BBC that the federation is negotiating with other manufacturers and still in talks with Adidas. There are growing doubts that the team will get a sponsor because of the constant bickering in the federation and the failure of the senior national team to qualify for the 2015 African Cup Of Nations scheduled for next year in Equitorial Guinea.

A source in the NFF told The Sun that the federation may have no option than to look in the direction of China to get the national teams kitted if any of the reputable sports wear manufacturing outfits refused to sign a deal with them. He opined that the NFF will face what he called “kitting crisis” if they don’t get deal before the first quarter of next year.
Adidas had made an official complaint to the Federation in August  that Super Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi and some players violated contractual obligations by wearing a rival’s kit at major events. The deal is  worth $7m-a-year.
