This is an inspiring story of a wealthy Nigerian pastor who decided to treat his congregation in the best way possible.
Pastor Joshua Iginla of the Champions Royal Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja on Sunday was said to have given 22 cars and millions of Naira ranging from N50,000 to N500,000 to members of his congregation to show his appreciation on his birthday.
Celebrating his birthday and that of his wife at the service, Pastor Iginla also unveiled 33 books he had written.
The pastor gave out 10 SUV cars to the beneficiaries, and challenged Nigerians richest to assist the less-privileged whenever they can.
The pastor narrated how he was poor growing up adding that the poor today could be the richest tomorrow hence people should be good to one another.
According to leadership, he said: “My birthday is all about giving to the needy. What I do here is just 10 per cent of what I do secretly.
“I give to teach people and to provoke them to give. I have many people on scholarship, I have widows on my payroll, we have rescued prostitutes and empowered them with skills acquisition programmes, I have orphans I am taking care of.”
“I have schools of the handicapped that we have been assisting and the physically-challenged students irrespective of their religions. Gospel is practical, not only spiritual.”
Iginla added that his act was actually the third time that he has given away all his cars without leaving any for himself.
Back in March, Iginla also did something special. The pastor dashed Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi a brand new Toyota Sequoia and cash gift of N550, 000.
While ministering, Iginla located him out of the crowd and said “he saw that he has fame but lacked the substance to back it up”
