President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the immediate suspension of Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi from the office of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He also ordered that Sanusi should hand over to Dr Sarah Alade who will serve as Acting Governor.
This was announced by Rueben Abati, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity via his twitter handle
