The son of Manchester United's star, Ashley Young has been reported to have followed his famous father's footsteps by signing for Arsenal rather than United in a bid to launch his professional football career.

According to reports, the picture of nine-year-old Tyler Young signing a contract with the Gunners was tweeted by his mother, Nicky Pike, who was engaged to United winger Young before their marriage was called off in 2011, at the weekend.
Ashley then retweeted the image, in which Nicky posted the message: 'signed and sealed it's official. Well done to all the boys who signed their contracts today! #proudparents.'
Ashley is a boyhood Arsenal fan whose childhood hero was Ian Wright.
Tyler joining the Gunners follows the sons of Robin van Persie and Phil Neville, who are both involved in Manchester City's youth setup, by not pursuing a future with United.
Shaqueel van Persie, seven, and Harvey Neville, 11 haven't signed with United's cross-city rivals but have trained with their youth set-up.
